Geoff Grant

Geoff Grant got his first ATP point at the age of 23 after graduating from Duke University in 1992 with a degree in political science and NCAA All-American honors in tennis. He proceeded to live in Tampa, Florida training with Pete Sampras, Andre Agassi and Jim Courier. Over an 8 year span Geoff battled his way up to a career high singles ranking of #109 in the world. His most inspired tennis came during his opportunities at the US Open, by far his favorite event. In 1997 Grant took two-time French Open champion “Guga” Kuerten to five sets in the first round. The following year he posted his career best Grand Slam result reaching the 3rd round with wins over Emilio Sanchez and Andrei Medvedev, finally losing a heartbreaking 5th set to Oliver Gross in front of a national TV audience on CBS.

In the juniors Grant was ranked top 10 in the US in both the 16 and 18 and under divisions. He was also number one in New England during the same periods. Having coached all levels and ages over a 10 year span, the former assistant manager at a large New York tennis facility is extremely happy to call Tenafly Racket Club his home. Geoff currently resides in New Jersey with his wife Bridget.

Andre Oliveria

After graduating with a BS in International Business and Finance, Andre spent several years working in finance, only to return to his true passion - tennis. Andre played for Mississippi State, ranked #1 in NCAA‚ Division One. Upon graduation, he played in satellites, challengers, and ATP-qualifying tournaments where he became a world-ranked tennis professional. Ranked #1 in the Men's Open in Florida, he was nominated for the Davis Cup, representing Portugal.

Continually full of energy, Andre is an enthusiastic and engaging coach for all ages.
