The Charleston ‘Head Ted’ is JoAnn Lee.
JoAnn has taught tennis for over 25 years. She is certified by the USPTA and
USPTR. She is also a certified USA High Performance Tennis coach. Her many
accolades include:
- 2007 and 2000 USPTA professional of the year for South Carolina
- 2000 - named one of the "top 25 heroes in the game of tennis" by Tennis Industry Association
- 2000 - awarded the prestigious Southern Tennis merit award for developing junior tennis programs
- Her tennis programs have been featured in USTA Tennis magazine
- Has a Masters degree in Physical Education and Sports Science
