London, 19th November 2010 – Teddy Tennis, the British developed tennis program for 3, 4 and 5 year olds announced today that they will be delivering a series of ‘showcases’ at the Australian Wild Card event that is being held at the Racquets Club of the South (RCS) in Atlanta, Georgia from 17 – 19th December 2010.
Richard Bean, co-founder of Teddy Tennis said: “We are delighted to have been given this opportunity to showcase Teddy Tennis. Since our first demonstration in New Jersey, earlier this year, just ahead of the US Open, we have had such a wonderful reception. Kids, parents, coaches and clubs all love our program. We have found the very positive reception we have received in the USA so rewarding, it makes all the hard work we have put into developing Teddy Tennis worthwhile”.
Teddy Tennis is a fun and exciting new way to encourage young children to play tennis and to get active. It works by combining music, pictures and teddy bear stories into a learning adventure that children love.
Peter McCraw, previously Head of Junior Development for the Nick Bollettieri Academy in Florida says of Teddy Tennis; “The unique approach of combining music with motion creates an ideal learning environment for children of all ages and abilities to develop sound athletic and tennis skills. A child could not receive a better start to tennis”.
