Parents
Teddy Tennis is a wonderful way to encourage young children to participate in sport, exercise and tennis in particular. As the teaching process involves using music (specially written by Teddy Tennis) and pictures of Teddy Bears, young children (we call them Cub Cadets) do not see it as doing sport or exercise but as having fun.
But there are many other benefits too. Our experience has shown that Teddy Tennis enhances a Cub Cadets confidence, improves their co-ordination and speeds up the learning process… all done whilst they are having fun!
As we have developed the programme over the past four years, we have used the most demanding of market researchers (3½ to 5½ year olds) to test out our concepts. Every aspect of Teddy Tennis from the music, to the pictures, the activities themselves and even the names of the bears have been scrutinized by our diligent market research team of some several hundred Cub Cadets that have attended Teddy Tennis sessions in West London.
As of Winter 2007, in addition to Holland Park, Teddy Tennis is now taught at Kensington Leisure Centre. Over the next 12 – 18 months we plan to roll the program out across the UK and indeed even overseas!
Details of new Teddy Tennis Academies will be published on this site as when they come on stream so please watch this space.
